I looked at the 1916 census on Ancestry.ca and they aren't there. Not that I could find anyway.
Checked all your spellings of last name and checked the first names with birth years as well.
Checked WW1 Attestation site.
Checked BC Vital Stats site.
No luck.
1916 census was only for Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
1921 census is to be released June this year.
