Hi Farmy,

You show that Martha and husband lived most of their married life in Indiana, but I see from 1880 census that they were in Columbus, Franklin, OH

and children were born:
Mary age 13 born MA
Archie, age 12, born PA
William age 10 born PA
Flora age 8, born PA
Jacob age 6, born PA
Nelle age 4, born OH
Dano age 1, born OH

In 1870 they were in South Pittsburgh

children Jessie, age 2, born MA (this must be Mary)
Archy, age 1, born PA

the good news from this is that the marriage was possibly in MA

I found birth for Jessie at - she was born Aug. 24, 1867 in Lanisborough, Berkshire, MA

so I looked for a marriage there for Jacob and Martha - odd thing is I found a marriage for Jacob Jr. Jackley in 1863 in Lanesborough, but wife is Maria L. Watkins AND
he is a glass blower which is the job shown for your Jacob in census records

I found a tree that shows him with a first wife with that name Maria L. Watkins and 2nd wife Martha Dano - ti shows their marriage as 1867 with source as 1900 census, so no date or place but should be MA

I'm going to see if I can find Martha in earlier census records in either US or Canada.

Carolyn L
