Taylor/Walker/Stout Loyalist family
Loyalist Taylor’s/Stout’sof Monmouth, New Jersey: Can you help me connect to this group?
I am searching for the family of our S. Henry Taylor b. July 4, 1840 in New York and later may have lived in Pennsylvania and/or Illinois. I have the middle of his life in Wisconsin well documented but where did he come from and where is his final resting place I do not know. Census records list his father as being born in Kentucky.S. Henry Taylor married Serepta Adelaide Walker about 1866 most likely in or near El Paso, Pierce County, Wisconsin, she is the daughter of George Palmer Walker (Son of Amos Bull Walker of Connecticut and Waterford, Erie, Pennsylvania). The Taylor's may have lived near the Walker family in Pennsylvania and Canada. They were Loyalists. The family may have lived in Canada at some point.
S. Henry Taylor is from the Taylor family that includes Zachary Taylor.S. Henry’s Taylor’s female family membermarrieda Stout.
S. Henry Taylor was a US Civil War Soldier although we cannot determine where he served due to incomplete records. He died in Ashland County, Wisconsin September 13, 1916 and his burial in is Hill City or Hill Cemetery, also not readable.
The given names of our Henry Taylor family are Ida Eldora, Cora Mae Taylor, George H. Taylor, Ernest Oliver Taylor, Louis Monroe C. W. Taylor, Harry Glenn, Edward Vernon , Richard, etc.
I have searched for years and everywhere I can think of to locate this family.
