There are two Lutheran cemeteries in East Zorra:

St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery (Tavistock)

The France/Germany confusion is likely caused by the fact that they were born in what is today Alsace-Lorraine. Today, it is in France, but over the hundreds of years, the border has changed hands many times.
