US WWI Draft Registration Card

Thomas Percival Selby of DuPont, Washington, born 10 January 1889, Stoke on Trent, England, declared alien, married with 1 child; working for E.I. DuPont de Nemouris (?) Co.; June 5, 1917, Pierce Co., Washington

1920 US Census
DuPont, Pierce Co., Washington

Selby, Thomas, Head, aged 30, married, born England, parents b. same, laborer, powder plant
Selby, May, Wife, aged 23, married, born New Jersey, father b. Pennsylvania, mother b. New York
Selby, Ralph, Son, aged 5, born Washington
Randall, Lewis, Boarder, aged 49, widower, born California

Thomas Percival Selby married Mary Frances Westerlund on 23 December 1912 (which means her age on the 1920 census is not correct) in Pierce County, Washington.

Ralph Edward Selby was born 4 September 1914 in Pierce.

On Thomas' WWII Draft Registration Card, he was living in Tacoma, Washington, born 10 January 1888 in Stoke County, England, still working for the DuPont Powder Company; gives his next of kin as Ralph of Tacoma (likely means wife is deceased or they were divorced).

His naturalization records indicate he arrived into the US from Vancouver, British Columbia aboard the Kensington into Seattle on 10 September 1907.
