Can you post details of the 2 Sarahs please?
Also are the Sarah & Annie posted sisters please or separate entries?
You mentioned that the death record does not mention parents but could you post the date and place of death if you have them please?
David Rowntree married two Sarahs( Sarah Lee on 18th July 1839 in Toronto and Sarah Maria Rossiter circa 1866 but I don't know where).(You could be right about the towels!! LOL!!)
Most of his first family appear to be born in Woodbridge, York County. I have no precise birth details for the second family but I'm guessing the birthplace will be somewhere in York County,Ontario.
Are there any other Rossiters in York County please who might or might not be possible parents? I have a large Rossiter database and hopefully I might find a suitable match.
Also I live in the UK and am not familiar with the Canadian censuses. What are the earliest censuses in Canada please?
