On 1871 census York West, York, Ontario, David and Sarah are listed with three of their own children and many other young adults who I assume are his children from a previous marriage.
1861 census lists David and wife Sarah [didn't have to change the initial on the towels!] with their children.
1861 census has 2 Sarah Rossiters listed. One is married so it can't be her and the other one is in Arnprior Renfrew County.
Sarah Rossiter, b Lower Canada, 23
Annie Rossiter, b Lower Canada, 22
Lower Canada would be Quebec.
Cannot find a marriage for them. Her death doesn't list any parents.
1901 census lists birth dates.
