Hi, I am doing research on my French/Canadian "Guillemet dit LaLande" family origins. I have traced the lineage to a Francois Guillemet dit LaLande born in France in the mid 1600's and married to a Perinne Menard. They were probably from northern France. They had a son named Jean Francois Guillemet dit LaLonde b. July 20, 1690. His wife was Madeline DuPont. Both moved to Quebec, Canada and eventually died there. Any tips on where to find more information on the histopry of this family? Your help is appreciated- Merci Beaucoup!
