am looking for info on:
Joseph John Menard born 8/30/1843 in Quebec, Canada and died on 2/24/1922 in Ashland, Wisconsin, USA
He married Alvina Herbert dob: May of 1860 born in Canada as well. died: 03/18/1903 in the usa.
They had children as follows:
Mary Exilda – 09/07/1879 born in Michigan, USA all kids were born in USA
Joseph – May 1882
Fredrick 01/25/1884
Rose Agnus-01/20/1886
Edward Aloysius– 05/20/1888
Dominic Richard – 01/17/1893
Arthur – 12/22/1894
William – 08/16/1897
Eva – 03/18/1903
I am under the assumption all these kids are from the marriage to Alvina.
I have they married in 1878 in Michigan, USA, so immigration was prior to that.
His story is vague on my part and I am sorry. It seems he was in love with a widowed woman and she would not marry him so he married her older daughter (from previous marriage instead). This was his second marriage and it is reported from his 1st marriage he had at least 2 children.
