If the person you are looking for sailed from a British port (including people who came from elsewhere and changed ships at Liverpool, etc), you might also be able to find them here:

There are some indexes for Canadian immigrants: 1925-1935 passengers, Home Children (both on the National Archives site), and the ships lists into Quebec are being indexed (with some available already) by this volunteer project:
