Charles Spry, son of John Spry and Grace Jewell Spry, Ontario, arrived in Rochester, NY approximately 1884. He was a butcher. With him was Rachel Thompson also of Ontario. They married in Rochester, NY. At some point, a William Spry was living with them - all three are buried in the same plot in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY. In the 1930 Census are two Frank Spry families...one arrived from Toronto, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Spry, with a wife, Alma. They had two sons: Roy C. and Harold W. Another Frank Spry had a wife Mary with children Robert W. Spry, Frank E. Spry and Donald E. Spry. My grandfather, George Henry Spry, arrived from Canada in 1927 with my father and wife...George was the nephew of Charles... Cannot figure out how all these relate if at all!! My grandmother said that the families were all related but she wasn't sure how...my grandfather had managed to argue with all of them according to her and stopped speaking with any of them!! Any help most appreciated. Sharon Notify Administrator about this message?
