My niece is trying to learn more about her father’s family the Logan’s and it peek an interest in me as well. My grandfather Hubert Kenneth Logan was born in Manchester Jamaica. I believe his father was from Scotland a plantation owner and mother had to be of African descent, because he was bi-racial. My grandfather was married twice; he had three boys and one daughter with his first wife, Vincent, Hugh, Harvey and Daisy. There was a forth son that was adopted Flavius Logan who migrated to England in the 60’s leaving his wife and three sons in Jamaica and never to return. My grandfather had no children with his second wife. He worked for Liquid Fruit (a soft drink company). He lived in Kingston, 6th Street and then 45A Duff Street, Kingston 13. He was a Jehovah Witness, he belong to the Russell Road branch until his death in the late 70’s.
Any information regarding my family will be greatly appreciated, please feel free to contact me at VGL04@msn.com.
