Very difficult to find these people. I did find the WWI Draft Registration of John Allen Hilton, born 17 Jan, 1879 and gave his permanent address as San Javier, Sonora, Mexico. This was filled out 12 September 1918 and he gave his nearest relative as his sister, Mrs. Clarence P. Nichols of Linwood, Ohio.

There is a Clarence P. (for Paris) Nichols in Ohio who died in that state in 1939. This Clarence P. Nichols was married twice. His first wife was Allie, who was born abt 1866 in Ohio and with her he had at least 4 children - they are in the 1900 census. Then from 1910 onwards, he is with his 2nd wife, Elma Hawley Nichols.

Did John Allen's mother marry again I wonder? Do you happen to know where John Allen fit into the family? Was he the youngest, eldest child, etc?
