This information was kindly found for me by a poster on this Forum.
I'm now looking for any reference to a son of Peter and Helena Harris. His name was JOHN HARRIS. He had an older brother called George. We don't know of any other siblings (yet).

During WW2 John Harris was based for a while in England. He visited at least two of his relatives while he was over here. From a photograph taken, in England, in 1942 we estimate his date of birth to be around 1918 / 1920. On the back of one of the photographs it says that he was with the Canadian Air Force. He is in uniform and has two stripes on his left sleeve (Cpl?).

I know that this is very little information to go on - but I still hope for miracles....
