Thomas Proctor 1749 Immigration

I am trying to research my father's family history and have come to a spider web of Proctor's. I have been able to acertain that Thomas Proctor immigrated to Canada landing in Halifax on April 11, 1749 with his wife and daughter (names not given). His port of departure was not given but I believe he came on the ship "Canning". His occupation was listed as "Mariner".

I also note that there is an application for a land grant in Sackville, Westmoreland, New Brunswick in 1763.

I then can only trace ancestry from what my father has told me. That is his grandfather's name was also Thomas Proctor (who I believe married an Eliza Bardon) They had 6 children: Isabella (Bell), Dora Eva, Lillian Blanch, Ernest, Howard and Arthur Albert. My father is the son of Lillian Blanch Proctor and Sydney Gordon Hopper.

If anyone can assist me on this research, it would be greatly appreciated. I have found this research to be very interesting, but unfortunately my father (Harold Rodgerson Hopper) knows little about his mother's side of the family. If I can get this all done relatively soon, I would like to give this to my father for Christmas or his 86th birthday in January.
