HAUSFELD,Clement Harold, B: 4/12/1909

I am looking for information on my grandfather's brother, Clement Harold Hausfeld, b: April 12, 1909. At one point in time Clement lived at 101-A Miller Ave., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am not sure if he was actually born in Canada as I know that he served in the US army for a couple of years. While in the army he met and married a woman named Eva Caroline Riddle, although the marriage didn't last very long. I spoke with Eva about one year ago but she didn't know anything about Clement as he left her unexpectedly. Eva also resided in Canada. At this point I presume that Clement is deceased, although I'm not sure. I am looking for help. Any information or recommendations on how to find out if Clement is deseased and where he is buried would be greatly appreciated.
