?Printers early1900s..?

Is there somewhere I could check to see where a Sidney George Knight served as a printer or as a printer's apprentice in Winnepeg?
He enlisted in the military in Winnepeg and on his attestation papers it says that he was a printer..He came to Canada in 1906 at age 16 with the BHC so am hoping that I can find out where he might have trained there..
Hope some SKS can point me in the right direction...
Cretia Olsen in Alaska..
