Posted by: Frances Dionne (ID *****1153) Date: September 26, 2002 at 19:10:08
  of 1701

Hello: Anyone remember the rush for Northern Manitoba at the turn of the 1900s? I am seeking some families from Flin Flon, Sherridon, Cranberry Portage, and Bakers Narrows, maybe Creighton, Sask, Beaver Lake or Denare Beach.
The Elenora Asmus married a Lawson D.O.B. 4/9/26.
Duncan had three siblings: George, passed away when?, Harvey, d.o.b. ?, and a sister Violet. Violet married into the Amot/Amyot family. she had two sons: Duncan and Gus, who are possibly in Alberta.
There is a Melvin Martin and son Robert mentioned but there is also a John Martin who had passed away. Monie is seeking family members and she lives in Washington state.
Anyone who reads this and that had know family members please email franinvan@yahoo.com or gholzinger@attbi.com

thank you for you kind help
