hi!! Donald Chisholm m. Catherine Beaton in Emerson, Manitoba on June 13, 1881....two children, Rachel May Chisholm, b April 5, 1882 and Charles Barton Chisholm, b. Jan 9, 1885, were definitely born in Emerson....the next two children, John Alexander Chisholm (my husband's grandfather, b Mar 23, 1887 and Daniel Chisholm, b. Nov 17, 1888, are the mysteries.... looking to verify that one or both was/was not born in Emerson, but rather back in Nova Scotia - not sure when the family returned to Nova Scotia, and have not been able to find where they lived there upon returning. John Alexander's info is conflicting - some records list a Manitoba birth, some say Nova Scotia.....looking for verification. I can do US census plus MA/NH vital records lookups in exchange... thanks!!
