Grandparents/greatgrandparents
Mr.& Mrs. Henry Johnston were early pioneers in Winnipeg around 1879.They had sons, Issac, Jack, George, Harry, William, Alexander, David (my Grandfather), and Arthur. Also daughters, Jeanette, Violet, Mary, and Mabel.Mrs. died in 1915 and Mr. died in 1919.I understand that they came from around Belfast, Ireland.I do know that my grandfather was born in Botineau, North Dakota in 1886 so I feel that they went to the USA.My grandfather David Johnston went to Winnipeg in 1915 and joined the Army WWI and returned to Canada in 1919, stayed for a while, then ended up in Butte, Montana.Any information would be greatly appreciated.Thank you sincerely
