Margaret - Manitoba
Posted by: David M Paterson Date: December 22, 2001 at 17:19:13

I would be real happy if someone out there can tell me about Margaret, Manitoba. With some difficulty I traced it on a map to about 6 miles south of Brandon, at a crossroads of the 23 and 346 but I cannot find out anything about it. Around 1906 +/- my Grandfather James Craig and his family lived there with an Aunt, Clara Fleming. My G'mother, Sybil is buried there in Margaret, somewhere. She died about 1907 from pneumonia(?) following an illness caused by negligence during surgery to remove a tumor, during which they left a pair of scissors inside her when they stitched her up. There were 3 children, the youngest one Pearl was born there. I'm really stuck. Anyone able to help at all please?
Thanks.
