Thank you Alan, for establishing where this post office was located, as I was also wondering where it had been situated. My great-great grandfather (Richard John Turner Salter; 1819 - 1911) established the post office in his home. He also helped to build the first Boyne School in 1877, along with Samuel Kennedy, Robert Took and William McKee. I've been researching, and learning, but want to make a trip to "where it all began" someday.
