Dr. Irving Cleghorn b. Aug. 22, 1863 at Moffat Dumfriesshire, SCT.
Graduted U of Manitoba in 1894.
Married Katherine Ann Murray who was b.
Oct 31, 1868 at Lochaber Antigonish Co., Nova Scotia. Katherine had been a teacher in the
Belmont, MB. She had been the first teacher in that school.

Dr. Cleghorn was practising medicine in Baldur for over 30 years.

They built a home at the corner of Elizabeth and Government Road.

Liberal in politics; elected representative of Mountain Constituency and was a sitting member until his death, Nov. 19, 1929. Katherine lived in Baldur after his death and passed away in Winnipeg July 17, 1955. Both are buried at Baldur Cemetery.

Children: Irving Murray Cleghorn, b. Sept 14, 1897

Raymond Simpson Cleghorn b. may 12, 1903.
Dr Cleghorn delivered his children at home and they attended and completed High School in Baldur.
