We are searching for the family of the owner/manager of the Blossom Florist Shop in Winnipeg in the mid 1940's. Her name was Gladys and she had a daughter named Valarie/Valerie. Her Mother was Elsie Featherstone who moved from London, Ontario to Winnipeg in the mid 40's with another daughter named Bernice. Elsie was interested in the Spiritualist Church. Bernice was possibly an hairdresser. Elsie was a widow, whose husband, Frederick had been a Mailman in London and died from compications due to a fall at work. Elsie had been hospitalized in Winnipeg for a bout with cancer.
Gladys may have also had a son named Lyle. It is also possible that they had a summer place/camp in Kenora Ontario at a lake.
