Hi. Boy do you hit the jackpot today. I'm one of the great grand children of Daniel Fraser and I'm sitting here looking at the town history of Somerset,my home town.Where do I start? Daniel was the first to buy land in the Pembina Valley area in 1877. Then he went back to Lle Verte and married Mathilda. His father was Jean Etienne(b.1808 d.1888) his mother was Marie Eulalie Cote(b.May 1823d,11Dec.1889) both burried in St. Lean.Daniel also had 2 sisters that I know of they came back to Sophie and Elizabeth. There may be more that I have'nt put together yet. There's a Simon in Mariapolis that I thinkis iether a brother or cousin.Daniel and Mathilda had 12 children 7 died at birth the 5were.Alexina,Daniel,Theodore(my grandfather Anna and Emma. I have lots of info on the family going down from there.e-mail me.P.S.I'm looking for info on Mathildas' side.
