As a Year 2000 Project I am working on a Family tree and History for my children. On the weekend my oldest daughter and I were digging through a box of old family photos and postcards that offer a few leads. I am looking for Richard RODEN b: 1870 or 1872 in Methley, Yorkshire, England and Maria SPENCER RODEN b: 1846?, Methley, Yorkshire, England. These are the brother and mother of my Great Grandmother. I have detailed up to date information on this branch of the family as well as old photographs.
In 1952 my Grandparents visited my Grandfather's cousins in Manitoba; the FONTAINE family, names I have are Dave and Ed but there are probably more. My grandfather was Joseph Hormisdas DEROSIERS. Other names that may show up in the ancestry of this family are GUERTIN, LIMERICK, LAGUIRAND and other spellings of DESROSIERS, in this family the S's seem to be optional. Thank you for any help or suggestions.
