MCKINNON, SILLERS, McDONALD, CRAIGS.
Posted by: James Craig (ID *****5169) Date: December 19, 2008 at 14:57:02
  of 1701

I have one or two photographs taken in a Minto Cemetery of Gravestones of a MCKINNON Family:-
(not in any special order)

John H MCKINNON (1875-1955) married to Margaret Emma SILLERS (1877-1941)

Grace Lillian MCKINNON (1851-1910) Allan G MCKINNON (1868-1943)

Ann McDONALD wife of Hugh MCKINNON Born Sept 20 1834 Died June 25 1909.

Quite a long while ago, I was given some idea that MCKINNONS lived around Minto and, some of my family who moved to Manitoba for work - CRAIGS from Northumberland County New Brunswick - stayed with them or were in some way or other connected/related? James CRAIG (my Grandfather) and his wife Sybil Dealy had 3 children to bring up whilst there. I would like to see if I can find out something about all this. Sybil died in Manitoba, James returned to NB and joined up for WW1 but died in 1917 in France.

Anyone recognising these MCKINNONs, please reply.

Thanks in anticipation.

James.
