Hi Marilyn,

My name is Michael Fairbrother. My grandmother, Betty Smith, grew up in Gretna. I am trying to find out information on a man by the name of Don Batchelor who I think went to school in Gretna in the 40s and joined the army at 19, going over seas to England. I believe his family is from Emerson. Any information you could gather for me would be greatly appreciated.

I am just beginning to learn a little of my mother's mothers side of the family.

Thank you,
