A 1919 birth certificate would fall within the years not publically available for privacy reasons (unless you are next of kin).

What I can find:
Almon Canton Doan m. Wineford Margret Meakin in 1915 (Strathclair)
also in Strathclair:
Allan Carson Doan m. Mary Kriska, 1912 (these may be the parents of Thomas, George, Archie, and Winnifred?)

I think these two brothers appear in Ontario in 1901 (as Allan C. and 'Almond' C. Doan) with their parents and a whole host of other children - it appears all the boys have the initials A. C. (you can see the census on www.automatedgenealogy.com)
