They were in Manitoba in 1881. I don't have a copy of the census, How do I find the census on line? Of the information I have, they have James, Irish, born in Nova Scotia, farmer, Catholic, Alice French, born Nova Scotia, Catholic.

In 1885 they are in Rolette, No. Dakota. Charlie was born is Canada 3 yrs. old and James born in "Dakota", and he is 1 year old.

On later us census James has his father as born in Ireland and his mother born in Canada,

That's all I have. Thank you for your reply, any help would be appreciated. Nancy
