I find it interesting that WF Scott signed up in Brandon MB rather than Wpg. You might see if you can find someone who can check the Brandon phone book at the time for the family there. And if you know who was living at Pacific Ave when he signed up, you might check to see if there's a marriage to a Scott for those people. Maybe Mrs. Wm. Scott was staying with relatives.
