There is a Herbert Cecil Grand who died 1924 7 29 (Yr/Mo/Day), Vedder Crossing, BC, aged 49, and was married to Louie Hopkinson, 1912 5 11, Chilliwack. The timing is... just about within possiblity. Louie Grand died 1955 6 9 (Yr/Mo/Day), White Rock, BC.

According to the WWI records, Herbert Cecil Grand was born Toronto, Ontario, July 26 1875.

I can't find anything about any David Grand in BC at any time, but there were some David Grants:
