Okanagan region look-up requested

I'm hoping someone might be able to help.

I have just discovered that my ancestor Hugh [Robert] Grant GORDON [born June 6, 1873 in Nairn, Scotland and the son of George Grant Gordon] ran a hotel in Canterbury Village, near Winfield, north of Kelowna, BC, according to the 1901 Census for the area.

Does anybody have records of his hotel in the village and any more details of any kind ?

Also, can anybody advise me how to discover when and where he died ?

Many thanks!!

Alistair
