Thank you, Diane, for both your messages. Next step, I guess, is to try California forum, see if I get some response there. I have seen the 1901 census and got all mixed up. There were two Olivers, I thought "mine" was the other one, with a new wife and many children.
The birthdate of my g.g.uncle was 1850, thatīs for certain. Anyway, thank you again and may I ask you for more info. sometime later?
