Yes.I have contacted her mother Ann Hanspack. As a matter of fact , i did speak to her 3 different times. She wanted to know as much as possible so that she could truly know that it was real and true. I sent her a copy of the original birth certificate, a picture of the grandson, and also a printed copy of the grandfather ssdi page. I phoned her to ask if she had gotten my letter and all the copies that she asked for. Her simply reply was: Well Eleanor was very young 17, and we all make mistakes, let bi-gones be bi-gones. Have a nice life.
Truly I think that since Eleanor was so young the adoption was her mothers wishes and will. Now since talking to her mother my, granmother, I truly know that Eleanor does not know that I am looking for her. If only Ann would let her know, my search would be over. Thanks so much for the info, even though i already went there, i truly appreciate the help.
