Hi there. I live here in BC and am a "newbie" genealogist. I noticed your message about looking for the Vigue family.
I wanted to let you know that though I am not related to this family I believe that I know all about them. You see... my mother taught in Arrowhead which is just down the river from Revelstoke. She taught a "Bobby Vigue" and even has some photos of him as her student etc. I am sure she can easily list off siblings and parents' names etc. My father and my mother both grew up in the Arrowhead/Revelstoke area. Most of my father's siblings stayed in the area as well and knew the Vigue family. Now I cannot confirm if this is the family you are looking for but I will call my mother tomorrow morning and get some info. If you email me I will then get you some more info.
Note: Bobby Vigue died just recently I believe and my parents attended his funeral. My mother can give me more info on relatives that attended etc.
