Death certificate 1907?
Posted by: David Harding (ID *****6509) Date: June 19, 2011 at 15:07:07

Can anyone clarify for me the process for obtaining information about the death of an ancestor in 1907? In wending my way through the BC Vital Statistics agency web site, it seems as though what I would want is a photocopy of the death registration for $50. I know his name (John DeWitt Snodgrass), date of death (12 Feb 1907), place of death (Okanagan Falls), occupation (stagecoach driver), birth date (4 Oct 1875), parents (William Jessup Snodgrass and Maria Barbara DeWitt), spouse, and one child. I'm looking for cause of death, spouse's maiden name, other living children. Any other suggestions for sources?
