Have information on a Henry Foreman - Forman d January 23, 1874 age 45 His Oldest Daughter Ida Emily Annie Forman/Foreman m Thomas or George Thomas Schooley of Hope British Columbia (BC) 12/19/1872. Two other unknown children, probably girls. Thomas Schooley and Ida Emily Annie Forman had one daughter that died at 9 months of age
her name was Amy Catherine. Amy Chatherine died in San Fransisco August 1874. Henry Foreman was a teamster. Thomas Schooley killed Henry Forman his father in law in a domestic disturbance and was hung in Victoria, British Columbia on May 23, 1784. Both buried in Victoria, BC
Rumor was that Ida remarried in San Fransisco in 1875 and died a few days later. Thomas Schooley had been a Constable in California before going to Canada. See below that Thomas Schooley and a George Dunbar were given the first Crown Grant for a Silver Mine. They sold it later to local businessmen for $80,000.00. A lot of money in those days.

Anyone having information on any of these people please contact me. Thomas lived in Yale and in Hope BC. Family stories say he was in or knew someone in Fleet Alberta, Canada. Hoping for names of parents of Henry Forman or George Thomas Schooley. Thomas possibly came from MD, ID, NY. Spent time in California during the gold rush.
