RE: AMRAM (some spellings are AMARAM, AMHRON, AMRUM)REEVES (some spellings are REAVES, REEVE)

Hi everyone. My name is Annie from Toronto, Ontario. I am looking for the ancestors of AMRAM REEVES and FRANCES PRICE.

AMRAM was born in Wiltshire, England abt. 1830 and came to Port Rowan, Norfolk, Ontario abt. 1845 with his family. His parents were JOSEPH REEVE and SOPHIA WOODWARD m. abt 1825 in Wiltshire, England. AMRAM had the following brothers and sisters: Edwin, Havilah, Phineas, Sophia Elizabeth, Ann, Julia, Henry Paul, William Hugh and Emma. They lived in Ontario and AMRAM was a farmer.

AMRAM and his wife FRANCES ("Fanny") were married in Ontario (1850's). They had the following children born in Ontario: Emesetta (Emma), Maud, Berthie, George. Arthur and Violet were born in CHILLIWACK, BRITISH COLUMBIA. (Other children may have been: Berkley, Belle, Esther, Mabel). I believe the family moved to B.C. in the late 1870's because they are listed in the 1881 Canadian Census as living in NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C.

I know some of the descendants of the REEVES family moved to WASHINGTON STATE.

One of these Reeves' descendants wrote the BIDDLE family in Ontario (BIDDLE family related to the REEVES family) a letter back in the 1950's saying that some of the REEVES family were living in WASHINGTON State.

Any help would be appreciated. My GREAT, GREAT GRANDFATHER was PHINEAS REEVES who is the BROTHER of AMRAM REEVES. Thanks so much. Annie
