help on 1917 wedding in Calgary

Can anyone help? Georges Hector Proulx and Fabiana Martineau were apparently married in Calgary in 1917. They both came from Stoke, Quebec originally, but my grandfather came to BC in 1910 with his parents and siblings, and I just found a notation in a local history book, that Georges went to Calgary to meet and marry Fabiana and bring her to Maillardville, BC. No wonder I couldn't find any marriage records in Quebec or BC. They were Catholic so I figure they were married in a Catholic church there. Anyone able to help?
