Johnsons-Britt/Buffalo Ctr,IA,1865-95

My name is James Johnson, of Sherwood Park,
Alberta, Canada.
I am researching the family of my fathers'
father, Nels P Johnson, born 1853, Hishult,
Halland, Sweden; and his wife, Mary, also of
Sweden, born 1856, married (?) probably at
StLouis, MO, mid 1870s. They moved to area
of Britt, IA, where my father, Henry, was born in 1879, having been preceded by a sister, Christine born about 1878, and succeeded by a further 8 children, the last ones being born in Oregon. The family
worked/managed the Johnson Hotel at Buffalo Ctr, IA, early 1890s, before moving to the
Weston area of Oregon, and engaging in farming operations, leaving that area for the
Okotoks and Viking areas of Alberta in 1908.
Any information (be it ever so slight) about
this family would be most gratefully received
by this sender.
I thank you very much,
James HC Johnson
