This is the right family. Nancy Korteen md. Charles Milnes in 1905 Warren Co, IL. They must've divorced as he has a child by a different wife later on. Nancy Korteen Milnes married Henry Cecil Duncan (called A.C.Duggar in the 1910 census) in 1911 in Cass Co, ND.
I have a hunch that Alice was married to a Steineck and then divorced, but just listed as single....ahhhhh! You know how the obvious appears even though it's been in front of you the whole time. Alice (b. 1885)is older than Nancy(b. 1887). The mother, Nancy md. Joseph Henry Korteen in 1886 St. Clair Co, IL. Maybe the mother was married and divorced because she used her maiden name on the marriage. Or maybe...she was up to something else.
Thanks for helping get my thoughts straight.
