Jehu Canaan (John W ) was born on 28 Feb 1821 in Hanging Rock, Lawrence, OH. He died on 4 Dec 1911 in Big Rapids, Mecosta, MI and was buried in Grant Center Cemetery, Mecosta, MI.
Jehu married (1) Sarah Louisa Scott, daughter of James Kay Scott, on 14 Sep 1843 in Hardin, OH. Sarah was born on 25 Jan 1827 in Licking, OH. She died on 3 Aug 1879 in Big Rapids, Micosta City, MI and was buried in Grant Center, Mecosta City, MI.
They had the following children:
48 M i James S Canaan was born on 12 Aug 1844 in Kenton, Hardin, OH. He died in 1905 in Big Rapids, Mecosta, MI.
James married Marie Stewart on 9 Sep 1875 in Lake View, Montcalm, MI.
49 M ii Charles Israel Canaan was born on 26 Sep 1845 in Lynn, Hardin, OH. He died on 23 Mar 1894 in Hardin, OH and was buried in Grove Cemetery, Pleasant, Hardin, OH.
Charles married Phoebe Ducker in 1870.
50 F iii Electa A Canaan was born in 1849 in Buck, Hardin, OH. She died in 1916 in Mecosta, MI and was buried in Grant Center Cemetery, Grant, Mecosta, MI.
Electa married (1) J E Cunningham.
