Greetings Brenda Campos:

My Campos ancestors are from San Buenaventura, Coahuila, Mexico. My great grandmother, Feliciana Campos, born in 1852, moved with her son Jesus Lara Campos, to Muzquiz, in the 1880s. I have traced my Campos line back to the late 1700s. I have a record of a Jesus Campos (not related, at least not yet} being baptized in San Buenaventura on February 7, 1883. His parents were Bernardino Campos and Maria Vicenta Garcia. He had several siblings. This may be the Jesus Campos you are looking for. I have collected all the Campos (related or not) from the San Buenaventura, Monclova, Abasolo, and Cuatro Cienegas areas.
Incidentally, my Feliciana Campos died in Muzquiz (I have not found her death record). In Muzquiz, I also have Lara, Valenzuela, Lopez, Ortegon, and Castellanos ancestors.
I would be very interested in exchanging and sharing information with you. If you send me a reply please be patient - I am going overseas for a month and will be unable to answer until the end of may.

Rolando Lara
