Just trying to help.
When you say 'has anyone found William C.Campion' do you mean records in the USA or in U.K.?
I believe I may have found him in the 1900 U.S. census and married. Was his Occupation=Carpenter?
I found ref to his birth in the U.K.
If you believe he might be your gt uncle...who were his siblings or parents?
Can try to help further.
