I have been researching men who worked for Vickers Steelworks in Sheffield England and fell in the Great War 1914-18. The result of this research and Military details about Arthur W. Campion can be found on http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/ Can anybody tell me more about Arthur. He was a member of the York & Lancaster Regiment. Unfortunately I only know his military details. Any additional information would be great. He was killed in 1916 - I don't know his age. There is a Arthur William Campion born in Leicester, who was 8 on the 1901 census. There are also a couple of Arthur Campion's from the Ecclesall Bierlow area (which is Sheffield) who were born 1899, 1900. this would make them a boy soldier if either of them were my man. I look forward to hearing from you Thanks in advance. Robert. Notify Administrator about this message?
