Interested in additional information about parents/siblings/ancestors, place of origin, etc. of Joseph CAMPION (26 Mar. 1753 Evesham Twp. - 23 Sep. 1829 Southampton) who m. Mar. 1776 Mary VENICOMBE (4 Dec. 1755 - 13 Apr. 1826) dau. of Francis and Zilpa (SHINN) VENICOMBE and granddaughter of William and Sarah (STOCKTON)(JONES) VENICOMBE and George and Elizabeth (LIPPINCOTT) SHINN. Joseph CAMPION was a son of John CAMPION (d. Aug. 1774)& Mary EVES (d. aft. 1768). Mary EVES a dau. of Samuel and Mary (SHINN) EVES. A West Jersey indenture/deed abstract suggests John CAMPION apparently a son of a Thomas CAMPION. Have Judith M. Olsen's "Lippincott: Five Generations ..." first edition which has information about these surnames and lists children of Joseph and Mary (VINECOMBE) CAMPION. Also have Alfred R. Justice's "Ancestry of Jeremy Clarke of Rhode Island and Dungan Genealogy" which has some information about descendants of Joseph and Mary (VINECOMBE)CAMPION.
