Warren County,TennesseeAt this time to wit December term 1828 of the Chancery Court held at McMinnville, this cause came on to be heard upon bill and answer before the Honorable William C. Anderson, Chancelor, whereupon & after due deliberation had thereon the court order adjudge & decree that the title to the following described boundary of land lying in the County of Warren State of Tennesseeon the headwaters of Hickory Creek beginning at the foot of the mountain on the lower side of the tract whereon SAMUEL JONES resided in 1811, running from thence with the various meanders of the mountainas far as that tract extended thence across & around with the various meanders of the mountain to the line of the original tract as located from JOHN CARRIC Sen. thence with his line as located to the mountain - thence with the meanders of the mountain twenty poles further out than the field of improvements made by JOHN CARRIC Sr. in the occupation of GOLDEN FIELD in 1811 - from thence a direct line to the corner a beach, originally made for CARRICK location near the path leading from GOLDEN FIELD to the place whereon WILLIAM COKER resided from thence on the East lineof 200 acres on which COKER resided in 1811 - running thence North with the line of the aforesaid tract to the line of the tract as originally located as an occupant claim made under the SETTLEMENT OF JAMES CAMPBELL, from thence with his South boundary line East to the mountain so as to include the tract or entry whereon JOHN FIELD then resided as also to include the tract whereon SAMUEL JONES resided & so much of the tract on which GOLDEN FIELD resided as before described so as to include all THOS. HOPKINS claims between CAMPBELL'S original claims & the mountains shall be whereby divested out of the said THOMAS HOPKINS & vested in the EPHRAIM FULTS, RUTH FULTS, THOS. MYERS, MARGARET MYERS, JACOB MYERS, GASPER MYERS, CHRISTIAN MYERS, JOHN MYERS, ABIGAIL MYERS & ESTHER MYERS HEIRS AT LAW OF GASPER MYERS deceased. I Josia F. Morford, Clerk & Master of the District Court of Chancery holden at McMinnville in the State aforesaid do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the final decree pronounced n the case of Ruth Fults & others against Thomas Hopkins from the original now in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my seal at office in McMinnville this 22 May 1832.
