Who were the ancestors of John Campbell: b. 21 Feb 1800 in Ards, Down, Ulster, d. 9 Aug 1850 in Rock Island, Illinois. On 7 Nov 1823 in County Down, Ulster he married Katheron McKee: b. abt 1801, d. 10 Jun 1857 In Rock Island, Illinois.
They had 10 children, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Hugh, James, John, Jane, William, Samuel and Alexander.
2 of the daughters, Margaret and Jane, were married to Samuel Warnock. Was there any relation to Mary Jane Campbell: b. 15 June 1815 in Drumfad, Down, Ulster, d. 12 Nov 1875 in Coal Valley, Rock Island, Illinois? She married Samuel’s brother, John Warnock.
