Seeking information on the ancestry of Edna Virtura CAMPBELL (b: about 1839 in TN) and her husband, James H CLARK (b: about 1839 in TN).

To date have yet to find either one before the 1880 census.

In 1880, they had just moved to Bosque County, Texas. Their known children were:

William S Clark - born about 1860 in TN (married Martha Ida Unknown) moved to Lubbock County, Texas by 1910 and still living there in 1930

Mary Lenora "Lilly" Clark - born about 1861 in TN. Married to James Wragg who died before 1880 in Bosque County. On the 1880 census, Lenora Wragg was living with her parents along with her 1 year old daughter, Eudora Wragg

Susan Campbell Clark - born Feb 1862 in TN. Married Dickson Garton from Dickson County, TN. They were also living in Bosque County, TX in 1880.

Albert J Clark - born about Feb 1869 in TN. Married Lola M Unknown. Living in Bosque County, TX through 1900 but moved to Lubbock County, TX to join his brother and parents. Was still living there as of 1930.

Elizabeth Clark - born about 1871 in TN. Living in parents household in 1880.

Laura Clark - born about 1872 in TN. Living in parents household in 1880.

Rosalie Clark - born about 1879 in TN. Living with parents in 1880.

James H Clark and Edna Virtura Campbell Clark have yet to be located on the 1900 census. Their daughter, Susan C Clark Garton had moved to Hill County, as did the mother-in-law of Mary Lenora Clark Wragg. The Garton family then moved to Harmon County, OK.

By 1910, James H and Edna were in Lubbock County, TX where James H Clark died before 1920 and Enda Virtura Campbell Clark died before 1930.

As of 1930, William S and Albert J Clark were still in Lubbock County, TX with their respective families. It is also known that during the 1960s, a daughter of Susan C Clark Garton and Dickson Garton often traveled to Lubbock to visit her Clark cousins.

Any information on the ancestors or descendants of this Campbell and Clark family will be greatly appreciated.
